In June I had cycts removed from my ovaries for the third time, but this time the doctor also tied my tubes, I’m in my fourties, and never had children. Since the surgery I only had my period once. He said my uterus is swollen, he sent me for blood work…thyroid, and pregnancy. The test came back normal, and I am not pregnant. He stated that if I don’t have my period by January he will do further testing. But what would cause the uterus to swell?
better then doing it on my own. I keep gaining no matter what I do. I take meds for my over active thyroid and keeping it under control, do you think it can still cause weight gain?

Well I have Hyperthyroidism and its a condition that my thyroid works more than its suppose to. I weigh 100 pounds and I’m 5’6″. I was wondering if there was somebody that had the surgery or had the prescription drugs. I was wondering how much weight will I gain? Not that I’m worried or anything. Just want to be in a healthier like 120 lbs.
