Are thyroid problems hereditary? Because my mom just found out her thyroid isn’t working correctly and i’ve been working out for 3 wks and one day it’ll be 147 but then it jumps back to 149. My mom is in great shape so it’s not like we’re unhealthy ppl, I have been eating healthy and exercising daily and even blogging it all. Does it sound like i could have a thyroid problem? And if i were to sched a dr. app how long does it usually take to get in?
Need to talk to people about this? Teens that can help me preferred or has been through this?

Im feel awful everyday..People call me fat, ugly, and throw comments around just to giggle. It really hurts and i cant really block them out no matter how hard i try. Ive had suicidal thoughts and thoughts about cutting myself. I have a under active thyroid so i cant help the weight thing, i also have asthma and take medication for both problems and im also getting weird thoughts about throwing up in the toilet or something. Also please give me any weight loss guides for a two-week diet, im going to an indoor waterpark for christmas and i dont want to bemade fun of so please help?
For the last month I have been feeling crappy (tired, blurry vision, ringing in ears, dizzy when standing, emotional outbursts at the begging, slow heart rate)…anyway the doctor sent me for a bunch of blood tests (CBC, thyroid, liver, etc.) and an EKG, all came back normal except the thyroid test came back saying I was hypothyroid and the EKG came back as a slow heart rate and I had an arrhythmia (?) or something (he said it’s common). He sent me for another thyroid test…my thyroid is back to normal except all the symptoms are still present…my slow heart rate was gone, but still had the arrhythmia (he said its probably un-related to the problems I’m having). He sent me for another type of thyroid test and a CBC. Everything came back nifty except my monocyte level is high. Now he sent me for a Monospot test….I’m scared I have leukemia or something…do I?? Or are the symptoms of cancer pretty dramatic?
